TERMS & CONDITIONS - FOR THE HOST (Skip down if you're not the Host of an event)
*Guests/Participates/Attendees - represents the same entity.
*Host/You/Your - represent the same entity.
- A $20 deposit is required from the Host to reserve their event date. This is non-refundable if you choose to cancel.
- To ensure we have enough time to prepare for your party, please reserve your booking by paying the $20 deposit at least 15 working days before your event. Details on how to pay this will be sent in an email within 48 hrs of receiving your booking request.
- A booked event shall consist of a min. 7 guests (excluding yourself) and max. 30 guests. We can do a min.4-6 guests (excluding yourself) if each sign is at least of $60 value.
- We require that all guests reserve their spot by making a full payment to their Host at least 7 days before the party so we can prepare all the materials, stencils (if applicable) and process orders in a timely manner. At this time, DALLVERO will contact the Host to get a final head count and full payment for all attendees.
- Cost for Travel: There is no travel charge for parties within 3 km of our business location (Papatoetoe) For parties outside of this range, there will be a $2 per km charge. (E.g: 5 km = $10 travel fee) Cap at $50. For clarification and any questions you may have about this, please get in touch with me at dallverodesigns@gmail.com.
- Individual Guest Cancellation: No refund will be offered once payment is received from the Host. This is due to DALLVERO already purchasing the materials and the labour involved in preparing the wood sign kits for the event. However, all absent attendees are free to pick up their kits from their Host.
- Host Cancellation: 1. Cancel before 7 days of the event, and you'll get a full refund. 2. Cancel before 5 days of the event, and you'll get 75% refund. 3. Cancel before 1 day of the event, and you'll get 50% refund. Why does a refund decrease with time? Because money has been spent to prepare for your event - to purchase materials, to travel to suppliers and for the labour involved in prepping your wood blanks (sizing, cutting, sanding etc.) It is the Host's responsibility to return all funds (and to make up the difference, if any) to their paying guests. The Host has the option to have Dallvero make kits instead of receiving a refund.
- Our Cancellation: If DALLVERO must cancel prior to or on the day of an event, then full amounts will be refunded to the Host. It is the Host's responsibility to return all funds to their paying guests.
- If inclement weather dictates the cancellation of a booked outdoor event, then the Host may choose to reschedule to another available date or have all kits dropped off to the Host. NO REFUND AVAILABLE.
- Please allow DALLVERO 1 hour to set up before the event time. Example: Booked event start time is 5:00pm. Dallvero will start set up from 4:00 pm.
- If an event will be held in a location other than Host’s property, then it is Host’s responsibility to coordinate the date/time and make payments with/to the entities of the event location.
- DALLVERO will provide table covering protection on Host’s tables to prevent possible paint splatters.
- DALLVERO is not responsible for moving furniture at an event. It is the responsibility of the Host to have an area (with tables & seats) ready for DALLVERO to set up. We recommend an area with no carpet, but the decision belongs to the Host.
- DALLVERO will not be held liable for any charges incurred by the Host in remedying possible paint stains on floors, carpets, walls, furniture or in remedying possible scratches/dents on walls that may occur inside/outside the property during the hours of a sign party event being led by DALLVERO.
- DALLVERO will dispose of all event related trash excluding food, food plates, drinks and beverage containers that may be provided by host and guests.
- If 7 or more guests attend your event (excluding yourself) you receive your sign for free (up to the value of $35) or receive a special appreciation gift from me.
- Most parties take 2 to 3.5 HOURS (excluding setup and cleanup), depending on how much chatting, snacking or indecisiveness about colours takes place. Please plan accordingly.
**DALLVERO will be taking pictures during your sign party event and may post them on social media for marketing purposes. We take careful steps to protect your privacy. No address will be shared publicly. If you do not wish to have your face shown in the pictures, please let me know. Thank you.**
